Incubation Program

TUMO Labs is running a 12-week Technology Incubation Program with a focus on AgriTech. Find and turn your brilliant ideas into reality and begin your entrepreneurial journey with our ideathon program, followed by a startup competition.

Up to 60 individuals will be selected to participate in the 2 day ideathon. During these two days individuals will be assessed on their leadership and team playing skills. Top 6 leaders will be selected to form their teams to join the 12 weeks incubation program.

The 6 teams will receive 1,250 dollars and support to validate their new ideas throughout the 12 weeks program alongside a designated coach and multiple international and national mentors.

After the 12 weeks program, up to 3 finalists will have the opportunity to receive mentorship and support to continue working on their ideas. TUMO Labs will actively assist the finalists to find early adopters of their solution and apply to external acceleration programs over the course of 3-6 months following the initial 12-week period.

Learn the fundamental skills you need to kickstart your business, validate your initial proposal, test your team, find new members and turn your idea into a winning pitch. TUMO Labs will provide all-round support from designing your business model to finding the ideal acceleration program and source of investment.

Wherever you are in Armenia, we’ve got you covered. TUMO Labs offers accommodation and transportation support to Yerevan for the 2-day Ideathon. Most incubation phase meetings can be joined online, and we’ll assist in finding local co-working spaces for your convenience. Additionally, we’ll organize mentorship programs in various cities to foster regional community building. For the grand Demo day, we’ll transport you to Yerevan to shine in person during the networking event.

Program Highlights:

  • Ideathon Kickoff: Start your journey with a high-energy Ideathon program for 2 days, where up to 60 exceptional individuals will be selected to participate. Over two dynamic days, you’ll be evaluated on your leadership and teamwork skills. During these 2 days you will not be working on your own ideas and you will be separated from your team members (if you have applied as a team).
  • Incubation Adventure: The top 6 leaders emerging from the Ideathon will assemble their dream teams to join our intensive 12-week incubation program. You’ll receive $1,250 in funding, dedicated coaching, and access to a network of both national and international mentors. During these 12 weeks you have to generate new ideas based on market research and potential users.
  • Market Entry Support: After the 12 weeks program, up to 3 finalists will have the opportunity to receive mentorship and support to continue working on their ideas. TUMO Labs will actively assist the finalists to find early adopters of their solution and apply to external acceleration programs over the course of 3-6 months following the initial 12-week period.
  • Comprehensive Support: From refining your business model to identifying ideal acceleration programs and potential sources of investment, TUMO Labs offers holistic support to nurture your entrepreneurial dreams.

Program Capacity:

  • Ideathon Event (48 hours): Up to 60 participants distilled into 12 high-octane teams.
  • 12-week Initial Incubation Program: The top 6 teams receive $1,250 and incubation support.

Who Can Apply?

  • You must be 18 and above.
  • You can apply as an individual or a team.
  • If you are applying as an individual we will help you find a team.
  • If you are applying as a team, your team might be mixed with other teams.

You can apply without an idea. The ideas will be generated during the program.
If you have an idea you can validate it during the program, but there are no guarantees you will continue with it.

Participants will only be admitted to the 12 week programme if they pass through the Ideathon event.

Requirements

Applicants must complete this application in its entirety to be considered for acceptance as a participant in the TUMO Labs’ AgriTech Incubation programme operated by TUMO Labs. All eligible applicants will be interviewed by the TUMO Labs’ staff or a designated coach.

Students will be required to participate in all the events designed to increase their chances for success.
This includes weekly meetings with their business consultant/coach and attending entrepreneurial speaker events and training workshops. The meetings are mandatory.
The team must dedicate 15-20 hours per week.
All applicants must have an intermediate level of English.

  • Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. If you’re applying as a team, ensure all members can participate.
  • Ideathon Event: For those making it through the interview stage, an exciting 2-day Ideathon awaits. This event is designed to put your teamwork and motivation to the test, with access to coaches and workshops to refine your ideas. Maximum capacity: 12 teams (up to 60 individuals).
