About the Project

During the projects, participants will create a Human Digital Twin for each individual user, modeling both personal and business context by capturing and processing a plethora of contextual information about the user in a data privacy preserving manner, and enabling the entire SAP eco-system to create user-centric experiences via a cloud platform service.

The “Augmented Access Control” project by TUMO Labs and the world’s largest enterprise software company consists of 3 challenges, to which you may as an individual or in a team.

Currently all the major players are developing applications that leverage on context awareness capabilities to monitor and manage security and data access based on the context the users are operating within.

Expected outcome:

  • Competitor analysis.
  • Product capability analysis.
  • Classification of competitors and products into key dimensions.
  • Evaluation of context awareness in access management products and solutions.
  • Analysis of most leveraged user contextual attributes in access management.

Prerequisites:

Students or young experts in business or related fields may participate in the challenge.

Many business interactions happen through digital communication tools such as email, chat, online meetings and shared documents. For the most part, this data is unstructured, difficult to analyze and some of it is considered private.

However, it is a gold mine of contextual user information that, if tapped into while preserving privacy, can be used to understand users and their business needs better and ultimately create more personalized and empathetic experiences for them.

  • Product capability analysis.
  • Classification of competitors and product into key dimensions.
  • Analysis of data privacy and GDPR compliance aspects of solutions and best practices.

For the most part, this data is unstructured, difficult to analyze and some of it is considered private. However, it is a gold mine of contextual user information that can be used to understand users and their business needs better and ultimately create more personalized and empathetic experiences for them.

Expected outcome:

  • Analysis of technologies and libraries (including open source and SAP BTP based) suitable for user insight extraction from unstructured text.
  • Develop a technical POC using SAP BTP stack showing an example of user insight extraction from user’s business communication unstructured text (can be just text as input to POC or as bonus, integration with a business communication tool such as MS Outlook).
