With tech companies and universities

During the last two years of its operations, TUMO Labs has carried out 22 successful projects on 3D automation, agritech, healthcare, IoT, artificial intelligence, and digitization. To implement these projects, TUMO Labs has partnered with 17 international and local tech companies, and 3 universities.

In a joint project between TUMO Labs and the Armenian National Agrarian University project, students built a smart city with automated motion detectors, water fountains, entrance systems, traffic lights, and smoke detectors.

Students in the TUMO Labs and Krisp project developed two projects. One summarizes texts and separates the main point and the other recognizes the text’s tone of voice of a text — positive, negative or neutral.

In the TUMO Labs & Coronatest project, students created an application that will allow you to consolidate your family’s COVID-19 history.

Students in the joint project between TUMO Labs and the Armenian National Agrarian University created an automated IoT-powered, web-based irrigation system so you don't forget to water your plants! This project was implemented with the support of the European Union in Armenia.

Participants in the TUMO Labs and Garoon Tech project created an agricultural consulting mobile application. The application allows users to detect signs of disease and deficiency in plants, while allowing farmers to receive expert advice from agronomists.

In a TUMO Labs project with TeamViewer Armenia (TV), students got acquainted with a set of sensors and integrated them into the TV IoT platform using a variety of their APIs. Additionally, students wrote a program that retrieves data from each sensor and an accompanying data visualization component.

In a TUMO Labs project with Viciniti, participants developed software that streamlines how IoT devices securely connect to cloud networks. Viciniti is a U.K. and Armenia-based company that develops infrastructure software to help industrial organizations run secure applications locally.

Students in a TUMO Labs project with Healthcare Innovation Center (tHIC) explored the digitization of healthcare management in Armenia and beyond. They used their insights to develop an application that connects iHealth devices to a database linking healthcare providers throughout Armenia.

In a TUMO Labs project with AOByte, a Yerevan and Toronto-based software development firm, students from various Armenian universities worked together to create an AI-powered license plate recognition module and web app that allows users to moderate cars passing through a checkpoint. To accomplish this, students got acquainted with Computer Vision and machine learning.
